Amitt-Ajiet Stud Farms are the pioneers of imported Friesian Stallions in India. We started in the year 2007, with 3 Friesian Stallions which were imported from Germany. In 2008, 2 Friesian Mare and 1 warm blood(Oldenburg) Stallion was imported. We also started with the breeding of Friesian horses in India in 2009.
We were the first one in India to have Friesian horses.
Then in 2011, 1 more warm blood(Oldenburger) Stallion, 2 Mares were imported.
Today we are owners of specialized breeds of Friesian and Warm blood horses in a farm area spread around 14 acres of land at village Mian da Pind near Dasuya, district Hoshiarpur, Punjab. Mr. Baljit Singh, lived for 17 years in Germany . in 2006 , he joined the professional riding school and started learning horseriding in Germany . Mr. Baljit singh takes care of the farm nowadays. in 2010 Miss. Tatjana fruh came to India to train Mr.Baljit singh and his horses . in 2012 Mr.Cor de jong came to train our horses . Cor de jong and Tatjana fruh keep coming to train our horses from time to time
Friesian is a horse breed originating in Friesland, Netherlands. Friesians are graceful for their size. Ancestors of Friesian horses are believes to be in great demand as war horses throughout continental Europe. In early ages, their size enabled them to carry a knight in armor In the modern day Friesian horse is growing in numbers and popularity, used both in harness and under saddle. Most recently, the breed is being introduced to the field of dressage and is widely used for riding and classic dressage
Warmbloods are a group of middle-weight horse types and breeds, primarily originating in Europe, Though modern warmbloods are descended from heavier agricultural types systematically upgraded by hotblood influence, the term does not imply that warmbloods are direct crosses of “cold” and “hot”. They are widely used for jumping and dressage
